America First Party of Mississippi
Executive Committee Meeting
October 12, 2006

The meeting of the Executive Committee of the America First Party of Mississippi was called to order by Chairman Trey Golmon at 7:40 p.m. CDT on October 12, 2006 at Primos Café in Flowood, Mississippi. Present were Chairman Trey Golmon, Vice-chairman John Goodman, and Secretary/Treasurer John Pittman Hey.

Mr. Goodman led the meeting in prayer.

The Minutes of the August 13, 2005 meeting of the Executive Committee were reviewed. On motion made by Mr. Goodman and seconded by Mr. Hey, the minutes were approved by unanimous vote.

The Minutes of the March 18, 2006 meeting of the Executive Committee were reviewed. On motion made by Mr. Golmon and seconded by Mr. Goodman, the minutes were approved by unanimous vote.

The Minutes of the April 26, 2006 Resolution by unanimous written consent of the Executive Committee were reviewed. On motion made by Mr. Hey and seconded by Mr. Goodman, the minutes were approved by unanimous vote.

The Minutes of the May 13, 2006 State Convention of the America First Party of Mississippi were reviewed. On motion made by Mr. Golmon and seconded by Mr. Goodman, the minutes were approved by unanimous vote.

Mr. Hey delivered the Treasurer's report. A summary of expenditures and of all donations received by the party was reviewed. Mr. Goodman moved the adoption of the Treasurer's report. His motion was seconded by Mr. Golmon and adopted by unanimous vote.

Mr. Golmon led a wide-ranging discussion on the need to issue press releases related to the recently adopted state party platform. A number of possible topics for releases were discussed. Additionally, the matter of compiling a listing of press outlets to whom to send the releases was discussed. The need for a state party email reflector to facilitate creation and approval of the press releases was also discussed.

A discussion was held regarding the timing for the next meeting. It was agreed that the Chairman would call the next meeting for soon after the Thanksgiving holiday.

There being no further business, on motion made by Mr. Hey, seconded by Mr. Golmon, and adopted by unanimous vote, the meeting was adjourned.
